Dear Jack and all,
Just a card to let you know that I am still alive. I ought to have written before but there seems such a lot of writing to do. I went to Selly Park for the week end. They wished to be remembered to you. Fred has gone out. So I have to be shopkeeper, housekeeper, cook and bottle washer. Clara went home Friday. The weather is very cold and stormy. I’m coming home on Friday if all’s well. I daresay you have got a colt before this haven’t you. I shall have to see about getting the dinner or else we shan’t have any.
With Love from all. I daresay I shall see you before long.

Dear R.
I received your letter this morning. I haven’t got time to write today for we are so busy.
Yours G.
Thanks so very much for card. It was very good of you to remember my birthday. I must wish you very many happy returns of your birthday, the 23rd isn’t it. I expect I shall see you before long. I have been away to Harrow for three weeks and had a glorious time, heaps of fun. We went up to London a good bit.
Love from Mom
Dear G.
